I was born in Pasadena, grew up in Monrovia, and am now alumni that gets to watch my son grow up in the city I love.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family taught me that being able to help others is a blessing. They also showed me how to live, rather than telling me how to be.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I’ve been in media and the music industry via radio for over 20 years. I now get to share music with over 100 countries weekly, and have founded the iDream Society with some amazing creatives. Really excited about the programs we’re putting together to help young creators.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
JB Burgers, and The Diplomat, are just a couple.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
My family has been in Monrovia since 1989

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
The most interesting person I’ve met here in Monrovia is community activist and TV host, Mr. Ralph Walker.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Egypt. I think it’d be amazing to see the pyramids in real life, while learning history in another country.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Favorite movie is A Bronx Tale. I don’t watch a lot of TV

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Believe in your dream, that’s why it was given to you. NEVER stop learning.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
It’d be cool to see a UFO haha.

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Bob Marley and the Wailers

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I really wish Family Affair Music wasn’t missing from Myrtle Avenue.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I’d love to have lunch with Dame Dash at Sunday’s Old Town Bistro

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I think we’re a pretty friendly community. It’s also super cool that I know my neighbors.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In five years I’d like to see my Foundation, the iDream Society, empowering young innovators here in Monrovia.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I graduated from MHS when I was 16 years old.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
I can’t decide between Sri Lanka & Hawaii.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
Favorite month is January. Favorite holiday is my Grandma’s birthday – July4th. Best day on the calendar is my son’s birthday – May 24th.

My family.

Fresh baked blueberry muffins and the ocean air.
