I am a mom of two incredible kids, I own Equity Lens Consultants, and I am a transplant to California. I am originally from Wisconsin but relocated to Monrovia in July of 2017 and I love it! This small town is so amazing and I am so proud to call it home. I am an avid thrifter, a lover of people, and a consumer of way too much Thai food! I enjoy relaxing on the beach, hiking, reading the Bible and magazines, and spending quality time with people I love.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have two children, a twin sister, who has a different birthday, and six other siblings who all live in Wisconsin.

I worked for 19 years in the field of education as a teacher, instructional coach, equity coach, literacy coach and math coach. Now I run my own business, Equity Lens Consultants. I love that I can have rich conversations about what equity really means and doing what’s right and fair for ALL people, at all times and in all circumstances. I get to teach people what that looks like in their business, school, church and community.

My favorite type of music is Christian because it’s so encouraging, so I would have to say an artist by the name of Kim Walker-Smith.

Probably Grey and Cash because it was where I had a “first time meet-up” with someone who is now one of my dearest friends.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative, with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
