I am happily living and working in Monrovia. I founded my veterinary hospital on Foothill Boulevard in 1996.
After volunteering with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for a few years, I found my true calling as a Rotarian in the Rotary Club of Monrovia. It is my great honor to serve as President of the greatest group of fun-loving, socially-conscious do-gooders in the world!
I am a pet parent of one dog currently and an unspecified number of cats. I live in the foothills and am treated to regular visits from deer, bear, coyotes, bobcats, etc. I love them all – even the skunks.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My mother and I moved to California when I was young. She passed in 2016.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am a veterinarian and I passionately love and care for my patients and their pet parents. I am fortunate to be rewarded every day by doggy slobbers, kitty purrs and clients’ thanks. Veterinary medicine is a partnership between the veterinarian and the pet parent/client. We need each other to provide the best care possible for each patient. There is not a day that I do not feel good about the day – even if my heart was broken.
