I am 64 years old. I have lived in Monrovia since 1985. I am married to Michael Winner. We have four dogs and have lived in our home since 1995. I teach a group exercise class out of my home. Prior to that, I was the manager of Foothill Gym for 25 years. I lost my first and only child in 1987 to anencephaly and became an advocate for organ donation due to her condition. I am a fierce fighter for animal rights and rescue. I am a strong supporter of women helping women. I register as a Democrat and consider myself very liberal. I do not consider myself to be very religious, although I do believe in a higher power, and I will lend a hand to those in need . I’m a very loyal and compassionate woman who isn’t afraid of hard work. I enjoy sports and don’t really have a favorite, but I do love the Dodgers! I enjoy collecting and I’m not limited to one particular thing! Decorating is a passion of mine. I also enjoy fixing things, and I can use all sorts of tools! I have a knack for taking things apart to see how they work and then putting them back together ! My friends all call me to help them, whether it be about an appliance they have or even exercise equipment at a local gym. I also bartended for 15 years and have done so in many venues, from beer bars to high end restaurants. I’m like a jack of all trades and master at none! I enjoy writing, as well, and have self-published one book.
